Philip is currently engaged as an Independent Consultant with Sapience Leadership LLC, a newly formed company out of the University of Pennsylvania’s Penn Center for Innovation, in the PCI Ventures UPSTART Portfolio. 

He is a graduate of the University of Pennsylvania graduate School of Education. Educational. An original Coca-Cola Scholar, accomplished actor, youth coordinator, teacher and program developer, Philip was recognized for his work with inner city youth on the Oprah Winfrey Show honoring Sidney Poitier. Philip attended The University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill, graduating with a B.A. in Speech Communications and earned an M.A. in Transformative Leadership from The California of Institute of Integral Studies while continuing to work on Broadway performing in RENT. Philip was also an original cast member of The Lion King on Broadway with several workshop performance credits including The Book of Mormon.  Philip and his partner joined Representative John Lewis and The Family Council to introduce and advocate for The Every Child Deserves A Family Act and the rights of same-sex couples.  He is a proud father and little league coach.
